the library

I love libraries. I love 'em to death. I like the smell, I like the row and rows of books, I like how peaceful everything is, and sometimes I get a little jealous of the folks doing their work study in here. They just sit at the desk and when you want to borrow a book they scan your card, scan the books, and then swipe their bindings on that little machine. It's beautiful.

Sometimes when I'm in the library, like right now, I hear a song playing on my iTunes and I want to scream it out but that would a.) be embarassing and b.) no one would like it or join in with me. but who knows...

I wish I were studying in a library like this although I imagine there would be a lot of people to watch and I wouldn't get much done. Instead I'm sitting in a carol and the only things in front of me are a imitation cherry hutch, a beige wall, and a painting of some fall trees. Oh well.

Don't Forget Kentucky...

Today in Intro to Lit. I was really bored, the class is an hour and fifteen minutes long and my professor lectured for pretty much the whole time. In an effort to not fall asleep I decided to try and name all the SEC teams in my head but I kept forgetting one. So when I got back to my room I consulted the extensive football schedule in the room and found out I was missing Kentucky. Sorry, Kentucky! Also, my feet were really cold.

What a riveting post this was!
